Be a YPI Leader
YPI currently is operating at over 14 high schools, colleges and middle schools across Atlanta and Georgia. YPI leaders engage small groups of 10-15 students at their assigned schools through 1-3 sessions per semester. The program starts with the academic year. The YPI leaders work with the school representative to schedule the session according to mutual agreement on time and date.
Our an interactive curriculum designed to engage students, introduce them to the field of medicine, application process and connection with clinical experience with our partners. YPI is constructed to make the sessions fun and easy to sustain and participate for YPI leaders.

Low Effort, High Impact Model
Join us and make an impact: "I enjoyed hearing about the struggles and the reality of medical school, as well as helpful knowledge and expectations. I especially enjoyed med students and guest speakers." YPI college student "I joined the YPI program late throughout my high school experience; however, with the short time that I spent attending these meetings I was able to talk to medical students and kind of see how their experience was. I got to learn more about the medical admissions process and college admission process in general. I was able to practice solving medical cases which I admit I wasn’t that good at but it inspired me to challenge myself and encouraged me to want to solve or correctly diagnose the “patients”. Our YPI leaders are volunteer medical students who are dedicated to inspire the next generation of doctors.
