​YPI Pop-Up

​Our YPI program runs throughout the year at selected schools and we usually host 5-6 sessions during the academic year. Due to the high demand for YPI sessions, we created YPI Pop-Up to bring a condensed YPI session to interested schools. 

​The sessions will include introduction by our YPI healthcare leaders followed by medical case then panel for Q&A about journey to medicine and various aspects of healthcare careers.

The summit are usually available per request by foundations, organizations, schools or colleges for their students. 

YPI Pop-Up session is hosted for FREE for accepted applications.

Eligibility:
  • High schools or colleges
  • Ability to provide a class room or meeting location that can hold the students to host the session.
  • Technology to project our program presentations.
  • Assign a member to be the contact person.
  • Approval by the leadership of the requester.
  • Complete the YPI Pop-Up application


Participants: 15-20 students (can be adjusted)
Eligible students: high school or college (we will consider middle school)
Summit duration: 60-90 hours

YPI Pop-Up program:

Introduction to medicine (10-15 minutes)

Think like a doctor: medical case (30-45minutes)

Medical Panel or Q&A session (10-15 minutes)
