​Future Young Physicians

​Each year, our founder Dr. Heval Kelli selects a group of dedicated college students from underserved backgrounds or communities and personally mentor them. 

​Purpose:
​The goal of the Future YP program is cultivating dedicated students into strong candidates for medical school and prepare them for their journey toward becoming a doctor.

The program will serve as a pilot to provide a template for other physicians to follow and mentor a group of students in the future. 

​Benefits: 
  • ​The group will work on meaningful community project focused on health prevention and education.
  • You will have the opportunity for clinical experiences and apply for future scholarships.
  • You will receive guidance in building a unifying and unique application for medical school.
  • If you complete the program's requirement, you will receive a letter of recommendation, a stethoscope and lifelong membership of the Future YP medical network. 

​Joining Future YP is FREE and each applications will be reviewed and considered for acceptance.

Eligibility:
  • College student with interest in becoming a doctor
  • ​Member of underserved group or community
  • Ability to meet 2-3 times a year in person
  • Interest in community service and leadership
  • Complete the Future YP application
