YPI for All We created two community wide models based on group sizes. Our goal is providing as many students with connection to our medical network and opportunities. |
The Doctor for a Day conference provides a large group (50-100) of high school and college students, with an interest in pursuing a medical career, the opportunity to meet with accomplished physicians, medical admission board directors, and medical students from all over the state! The conference is open to any high school or college students. Registration and attendance are FREE. Please sign up for future conferences and registration. |
The Doctor for a Day summit provides a small group (15-45) of high school and college students, with an interest in pursuing a medical career, the opportunity to learn about the journey toward becoming a doctor, interact with medical students and learn about clinical skills. The summit are usually available per request from foundations, organizations, schools or colleges for their students. It is FREE to host the summit if request is approved. |
"I enjoyed speaking with different doctors, playing House MD while solving medical cases, listening to students talk about three experiences in college to become a doctor, and giving us the opportunity to work in a clinic."
