YPI currently has two operating programs, one at the Academe of the Oaks and a second at Clarkston High School. YPI volunteers lead small groups of 10-15 students at each high school through 4-5 sessions per semester. The program starts with the academic year. Meeting monthly with their mentees at the high school, volunteers go through an interactive curriculum designed to engage students, introduce them to the application process and equip them with real world medical shadowing experience.
